What is VoiceStream's cloud PBX?
VoiceStream's cloud PBX is a carrier-grade phone system built on Asterisk with a WebRTC softphone in the browser. Agents get up to four simultaneous lines, hold, mute, DTMF keypad, click-to-dial and HD voice & video — without installing anything. Supervisors get ACD queues, live boards, MP3 recording, a full CDR and QA scorecards. Every outbound call is metered against a prepaid wallet, so there is no surprise bill.
What does the browser softphone do?
- Four lines, IP-phone style — hold one caller, take another, merge them into a conference.
- Blind and attended transfer, call park (dial 700) and directed pickup (
**ext). - Screen-pop — the caller's CRM record opens on ring; add a note, raise a lead, click to WhatsApp.
- Agent states — Break, DND, Manual — with auto-answer and a live agent board for supervisors.
- Android app with push notifications for incoming calls when the browser is closed.
How is inbound call routing configured?
Inbound and outbound routes, SIP trunks with caller ID, DIDs, ring groups and time conditions are all point-and-click. The IVR editor is a dialpad: click a key, choose where it goes — a queue, an extension, another IVR — and set the fallback for invalid input or timeout. Per-company music on hold and voicemail-to-email are included.

Yes. The same software runs fully managed in our cloud or on your own server or IP-PBX appliance. We also supply and install Grandstream PBX hardware and IP phones that work with VoiceStream out of the box.
